Valentines Day tips.

Valentines Day is coming up this weekend! My boyfriend had me take Sunday off because he has something planned...i can't wait yay!!

Here's a romantic v-day look i did.

The goods

• Face: MAC studio fix liquid, mineralize skinfinish: medium plus
• Blush: MAC margin, mineralize skinfinish: soft and gentle
• Eyes: MAC sketch and naked lunch, technakohl: graphblack, loreal telescopic mascara
• Lips: MAC lipstick: hue and plush glass: wildly lush

• Hair: Conair 1" curling iron, silkening drops, privana hair therapy

• 
• Get in the spirit!!
  
• Wear pink and red of course! If you're like me and are more of a neutral girl then pair the colors with a neutral outerwear to tone it down ( I wore a black cardigan with the red tank up above).
• Paint your nails pink and/or red. I'm wearing a highlighter pink color nail polish, dazzle by savina (found @ nordstrom rack).
• Don't forget about your girlfriends and single pals out there: a card and candies will put a smile on their face. =]
  

Now ladies, whatever the v-day sitch is...DO have a plan B! Yeah, we all want our man to plan, surprise, and shower us with love on this day but sometimes things just don't happen like that. So just keep in mind what you would want to do if his plan didn't go through or you both should discuss on what else to do if this place is booked blah blah.

Why??
Because NOBODY wants to argue and be mad at each other on valentines day due to stupid reasons!

This IS one of their top dessert and my absolute FAVORITE. I tried it with my best friend and we were like wow this tastes like heaven...seriously!! its sooooo good. it's my favorite dessert spot and i always come by.

They are made fresh daily and their menu changes by day! Their cream topping and fillings are sooo addicting. If the regular cupcake size is too big...don't worry there are dot sizes: they're teeny and you can try different kinds this way.

Honestly, I am not a sweet tooth person until I found these two spots. Perhaps, you'll bump into me dropping by for them on Valentines...who knows!

And if he's been a good boy...treat him well ;)

Go girl, it's your birthday...say ahhh. (January)

I had a THE best birthday E-V-E-R, it was even better than my 21st hah! I wish i took more pictures but i concluded that i was having too much fun to pull out the camera but i did manage to get a handful of photos. =]

Thursday, January 7th: OFFICIAL b-day girl

• Started my day off by going to all of my classes.
  
• The weather was right on point...crisp cold & no rain (my kind of weather) and that started off the birthday weekend just right!
• Went to Wendy's and got their 99 cents spicy nuggets, sooo good for that price.
• Redbox'd Paper Heart and watched it with my cousin and his gf.
  

Halfway throughout the day I FINALLY saw this. I don't even know when my roomie wrote that. Yeah, i'm that type of person that is unaware of my surroundings...as my friend says...i have the worst peripherals (and he does this thing that makes me laugh, heh).

Some books I found in my cousin's car that I am borrowing, getting in touch with my intellectual side.

Aomatsu Sushi & Grill
Corvallis, OR

Went to Aomatsu, a sushi restaurant downtown with a few close friends AND my bf and other friends drove about an hour just to come and surprise me and to have dinner! Yay!! (Lack of photos...)

Complimentary green tea ice cream for my bday, YES!

Went home and then...surprise birthday cake from my cousin and his girlfriend!! awwww!! <3>

Coldstone cookie dough ice cream cake. Good but VERY sweet, recommend it for you sweet tooth's out there!

• Went to my friends house and started a drinking sesh and that's how my night ended!
  

Friday, January 8th.

• Spent the day with my boyfriend of course. <3
• Shopped a little and had dinner.
• Then onto.....

Saturday, January 9th: Game Plan.

I picked these up a while a go and have been wearing them like 24/7. They're stylish and comfortable to walk in for the whole day kind of boot! yeahhhyUHHHHH!

I had the falafel bowl but subbed the rice for noodles. I'm a noodles girl!

We shared fries and sweet potato fries and had some beer (they're dark here!)

I liked the atmosphere of this small yet cozy spot. The food is good in the healthy sense. I felt great after eating it and everything tasted fresh. Would come back! (I'm sure the guys didn't love it as much as us girls...we wanna treat our bods well once in a while! ;] )

On another note: i've jumped on the bandwagon for formspring me! it's just like a q&a box for you gals or anybody to ask me if you have been curious about anything(what, why, when, where, who, how, etc) or just whatever!! i find it pretty interesting so please feel free to ask away (that'll keep entertained while i do my school thang *winks*)

This is a new spot that just opened up. I was hesitant at first b/c im not really into that cafe scene. I ordered "Big D's" because i wanted some D's in my life lol, right! Anyway it was a smoked salmon crepe w/ lime sherry sauce and OMG (literally what came out of my mouth) it was soooooooooooo GOOD.

My boyfriend got the berry sweet crepes (hes a berry fanatic) and it was really good also but i'm not the sweet person type as much. Oh, they have like EVERY type of tea possible there also! I am a tea lover over coffee lover.

I really recommend it so if you're ever around, check it b/c i <3>
