I have always lived by the belief that becoming aware and to have knowledge pertaining to issues that are taking place in our world will make a difference because at least one person can obtain that knowledge and can share it forward.
I have recently been made aware of that millions of young girls lack the resources of affordable sanitary protection, which can lead to devastating lifelong consequences, leading them to abandon school, and to potentially face poverty and disease.
This is really devastating to find out about because something so common and overlooked could have negative effects. I know that I complain about having to go to the store to pick up sanitary products when aunt flow visits once a month…and I’m sure many of you ladies do too! After this realization, I am thankful to have access and want to help out the young girls out there that doesn’t have an easy access to this problem.
