i don't know how i lived without these brush and other MAC brushes for my whole life!!! it is so much softer and sturdier than other brushes but most importantly it picks up all of the products and the product actually shows up on my face compared to cheap ass makeup brushes. don't get me wrong, i still use the cheap ones for other colors/back ups but DAMN i would really recommend MAC brushes.
get to the point: you get your moneys worth.
I basically LOVE, LOVE all of my MAC products and couldn't be happier!
Quick question for the ladies that own MAC brushes and/or MAC brush cleaner:
1] How do you use the cleaner? They tell me to pour some on a paper towel and gently brush it until the color disappears. But what about a weekly rinse or whatever?
2] Do your brushes shed? Mine shed's a little bit here and there but i just started to use them, is that normal? I would like to think so.....
HOLLER LADIES! Please and thank you in advance!!

That is an awesome MAC haul!
oooo nice haul!!
Love ur mac haul esp those blushes & lippies......and those e/s are so must haves...
You need to get a spray cap for your brush cleaner bottle, that way you can wash your brushes normally. After using the mac brush cleaner, rinse it under water and you're set to go or you can even use baby shampoo before rinsing. This cap helps you save alot more product. I've seen some people did what the MUA told you but to me, i still use baby shampoo. I don't know if it's my head that's telling me that it's not fully clean clean yet but you can skip it if you want. As for the shedding part, when I first got them and wash them, they didn't shed. Even til this day I have seen hardly none or maybe 1 or 2 fibers off of 1 or 2 brushes and that's it. But I will say that my mac 188 did shed like crazy when i first washed it and afterward as well. as for now, it stop shedding after the third time. i guess it's normal. glad you liked your mac haul, i remember that feeling of getting so much massive goodies of mac products!
nice haul! =) my mac brushes shed alot the first time but they have tame down from going bald. lol Other than using the brush cleaner daily. You should wash them with baby shampoo. I usually just clean my brushes with baby shampoo since mac brush cleaner is a bit expensive in my pocket. Baby shampoo is something i buy all the time since its the only thing my 9month old daughter use. Plus it's cheap. no more than $3 for a big bottle. (at walmart)
Girl, that is not a MAC haul...it's MAC PORN! I am still living in the Ice age b/c I do the liquid soap/water routine. I need to jump on the bandwagon. :P I currently only own a MAC eyeshadow and foundation brush and I don't believe I've seen shedding...although the hairs are so fine it's highly possible my eyeballs have missed this.
nice haul. i love satin taupe too. dollymix and margin are my fave blushes.
I love your lipstick choices! I tagged you on my blog.
So funny, my next article is about makeup, but I don't even have the patience to wear it. Your MAC is lovely.
